The Motor Driver Board for Arduino is able to control one of the following combinations of motors: - 4 DC motors with individual 8-bit speed selection. - 2 unipolar or bipolar stepper motors - 1 stepper motor and two DC motors It can also drive two small servo motors. To drive the motors connected to it, the Motor Driver board for Arduino uses two L293D drivers and a 74HC595 shift register. The pins used on the Arduino board are only 3. The power supply can be taken from the Arduino but it is advisable to use an external power supply connected to the terminal block on the board. |
